The only industry body representing precast concrete manufacturers.

Since 1990, National Precast has grown to become the peak body for the Australian precast concrete industry.

Membership comprises precast manufacturers of all capabilities, across all states, as well as product and service suppliers, industry professionals, tertiary institutions and allied organisations. As it unites the industry through national members’ meetings and dinners, National Precast empowers, represents and promotes its members.

Architects, engineers, builders, academics, students… we have you covered too.

The Association produces a constant supply of information across a number of platforms, which is readily available to the industry.

As well as its publications – the most notable being the Precast Concrete Handbook – National Precast also has a formidable range of other information available. From the many fact sheets that can be found on the Association’s website, a regular supply of member case studies is also available.

Another initiative, the Free Subscriber service, allows precasters, engineers, architects and contractors to sign up to receive regular electronic newsletters.

The organisation also regularly produce editorials for industry journals (such as Construction Engineering Australia, Highway Engineering Australia, Waste + Water Management, Roads & Infrastructure Australia, Built Offsite and BUILD Australia) and has partnered with DesignBUILD exhibition.

The Tender Service is popular for building contractors, making it easy to source prices from National Precast members, knowing they are dealing with precasters who have passed National Precast’s membership requirements.

Also available is the Find-a-Precaster service that is available on National Precast’s website, as well as the R-Value Calculator tool that calculates the thermal mass benefit of precast.

National Precast’s mission is to unite, empower, represent and promote the Australian precast industry at a national and state level, to make precast the preferred choice for sustainable construction.
